Earth Library is a collection of over 100 labelled jars containing soils from all over the world, collected over 35 years. The jars are displayed on glass shelves within a steel frame. 86 cm x 20 cm x 206 cm high.
This is a 14’ long open woven canoe made on site at Taigh Chearsabhagh Arts Centre, North Uist, from willow, hazel, heather and salmon skins which are wrapped around the gunwales, struts, keel and paddle.
